About this Movie

After her mother’s death, aimless 30-something Alex Rose (Carson) learns she must complete a quirky bucket list she wrote as a 13-year-old girl in order to receive her inheritance. As she checks off items—like teaching at a women’s shelter, getting a tattoo, performing stand-up comedy, and meeting her estranged biological father—she receives heartfelt video messages from her late mom (Connie Britton), uncovers family secrets, navigates grief, finds romance, and embarks on a journey of self-discovery.
